ATA develops a set of analytical toolkits and services to investigate rapidly evolving technological domains.

DyNet

Decision Support Software

ATA's dynamic network software package (DyNet) provides tools for creating data-driven visualizations of the underlying relational structures which would otherwise be obscured by the fragmentation of data into heterogeneous domains and databases.

A network-based approach saves a considerable amount of time. Even when a supervised paper-level analysis could possibly lead to equivalent information, it is possible to explore larger domains of research with greater precision by automating the filtering process.
  • DyNet SE (Standard Edition): This version of DyNet has been developed for social, economic, network researcher or professionals that want to exploit the potential of visualising data and their relations in terms of graphic ad verbose outputs.

  • DyNet LS (Life Sciences): This beta version of DyNet (available as a standard version at the end of September 2007) allows reasearchers and professionals to scout through scientific literature and patents to unveil inter-connections and hidden or weak relations. DyNet LS implements a semantic module to extract concepts like genes, proteins, diseases, drugs, biological precesses, cellular components on a given query and to visualise them for quick inspection. Pros are that network visualization will help researches and professionals identifying prior and existy research, their connections, interdependencies, key scientists and research centres together with normal patent saerches or citation patent networks.
